New Delhi: Tomorrow, January 6, 2023, is the first day of registration for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET PG) counselling 2022 special stray vacany round. On the official website, mcc.nic.in, applicants can register for the NEET PG special stray vacant round. From January 6 through January 8, 2023, applications will be accepted for open MD, MS, Diploma, PG DNB, and MDS seats through the All India Quota, Central University, Central Institute, Deemed University, and PG DNB programmes.
The NEET PG special stray vacancy round counselling is being held by MCC to fill the 2,244 PG seats and 62 MDS seats that were left vacant following the previous round. Candidates will have until January 8 to make their selections, and on January 8, 2023, the NEET PG choice locking window will be open from 5 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. To take part in the counselling, applicants must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000.
On January 10, 2023, the special stray vacancy round allotment results for NEET PG counselling 2022 will be released. From January 10 to January 14, 2023, candidates who were chosen in the NEET PG 2022 special stray vacancy round must report to the designated college.
Candidates who have registered on the MCC portal but did not receive a seat in the state quota or earlier round of MCC-conducted NEET PG counselling are eligible to apply for the special round of stray vacancies. For the special stray vacancy round, candidates who have already received a seat in AIQ or state counselling are ineligible. Also disqualified are candidates who were given seats in the mop-up and stray vacancy rounds but did not take their assigned seats.
