Practical Exams for Classes 10 and 12 Commence Monday; Important Information for Students and School Principals

Tests for the CBSE in 2023: The board has also requested that schools make careful preparations for the Class 12 practical exams because the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam will also be held in January.

In New Delhi: For students in more than 28,000 CBSE schools in India and 26 other countries, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the practical test, project, and internal evaluation exams for classes 10 and 12 between January 2 and February 14, 2023. In a formal announcement, the board announced that external examiners will be chosen to oversee the Class 12 practical tests. As the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam will also be held in January, the board has also urged schools to make necessary preparations for holding the CBSE Class 12 practical exams.

No practicals will be rescheduled or permitted outside of the specified dates, thus the students have been urged to show up for the exam as scheduled. The school principals have been instructed to take note of a few things to ensure that the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 practical exams are administered successfully and on time. Which are:

  1. Get the laboratories ready for practical exams
  2. Contact external examiner appointed for the school and fix the date for the practical exams
  3. Instruct the teachers of the school who have been appointed as an external examiner to get in touch with the school where they have been appointed as an external examiner and fix the schedule in the conduct of practical exams
  4. All teachers appointed external examiner should be relieved by the school to complete their assignments in other school

The datesheets for the 2023 CBSE theory exams have also been released by the board. While the Class 12 board exams will take place from February 15 to April 5, the CBSE Class 10 board exams will take place from February 15 and March 21, 2023.
