When Kate Middleton walked out in a gold belted and pleated Karen Millen dress today, she leaned into the season’s cosy tones. She had flowing waves in her hair. In particular, she spent time with hospitalised infants during her visit to the maternity ward of the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, England.
“With a focus on maternal mental health, alongside cutting-edge overnight facilities, Royal Surrey County Hospital ensures women and their families feel safe, supported, and have the best chance of developing those all-important early attachments which are so crucial to ensuring their babies grow and thrive,” wrote Kate on her and Prince William’s Instagram account. It was wonderful to meet some of the new mothers and their infants who are supported by the hospital’s outstanding staff.

On September 27, Kate visited Wales for the first time after acquiring the title from King Charles III. She wore a very autumnal crimson jacket. Kate and William visited St. Thomas Church and the Holyhead Lifeboat Station of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Kate added some black clothing as accessories. She chose to carry a black backpack and wear her hair straight down.
In two blog postings, Kate and William discussed their historic journey on social media. “Diolch Anglesey!” they wrote in their first. It’s lovely to be back, what a welcome,” the couple posted on Instagram. It was lovely talking to individuals from the neighbourhood and getting to know the courageous @rnli volunteers who work to keep North Wales’ coastlines safe.
