In its Season 48 debut, Saturday Night Live makes fun of Adam Levine’s cheating issue and Armie Hammer’s DMs

Miles Teller served as host of Saturday Night Live’s Season 48 premiere, which also included a sketch making fun of Adam Levine and Armie Hammer.

On October 1, Miles Teller, who is most known for his role in Top Gun: Maverick, made his hosting debut for Saturday Night Live Season 48. After delivering a humorous monologue about how Tom Cruise performed all of his own stunts for his role in Top Gun, Teller took part in several skits, including one where he was the host for “Send Something Normal.”

Adam Levine

Four male celebrities were challenged in the Send Something Natural comedy to respond to flirtatious Instagram DMs “in a way that is normal.” SNL made fun of Adam Levine, the singer for Maroon 5, who has lately made headlines for a cheating scandal. Additionally, the comedy made fun of Armie Hammer, whose DMs allegedly leaked contained images of cannibalistic fetishes.

Mikey Day played Adam Levine in the comedy, and James Austin Johnson took on the role of Armie Hammer. Kenan Thompson played the less problematic astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Bowen Yang played himself. Johnson makes a joke on Hammer’s cannibalism problem in the sketch “I realise there has been a lot of press coverage about me, but I have changed and put a lot of work into improving myself. I now have a message. I want to tear your bones open and extract the marrow.”

Levine was mentioned since the singer recently made headlines after Sumner Stroh’s allegations against him went viral on TikTok. Following Stroh, several women came forward claiming Levine, who has been married to Behati Prinsloo since 2014, sent them flirtatious messages.
