Ahmedabad: To commemorate the Christmas festival, churches, shopping centres, and other structures were decorated with colourful lights. Members of the Christian community gave prayers and attended midnight masses around Gujarat.
The celebrations, which started late on Saturday night and went into Sunday, saw a great number of people come out to greet one another, visit the homes of their relatives and friends, and exchange gifts.
